At Math Ninja we are offering a host of summer learning opportunities for students in grades 3-12. One of the many offerings is a math competition designed to get students excited about practicing math over the summer months and to help with the dreaded summer brain drain.

Contact us today to enroll them in the competition! The more participants, the stronger the competition, and the more math our kids will complete!

Who Can Participate?
Any student in grades 3 – 12 can compete.

What Will Students Do?
Each week, students will be assigned a math challenge to complete. During the week, students will log hours & problems solved to meet the challenge using IXL. IXL is a self designated “practice that feels like play” website. Students will be able to select math topics, based on the challenge, to demonstrate their math ninja skills. Access to IXL will be provided with registration.

Can Parents Follow Their Child’s Performance?
Absolutely! Parents will receive login information so that they are able to follow their child’s accomplishments using IXL. Parents can also check the Math-Ninja website and facebook page for updates.

When Does the Competition Begin & End?
The competition opens on June 22, 2015 and ends on July 31, 2015. Students are not required to login daily. It is recommended that students practice at least 15 minutes per day, five days per week.
